PHILOSOPHY

Kadd has a 40 year history of housing integration in Colorado and Wyoming spanning over 3000 residences both private and institutional.  The past 25 years have focused on the inspiration of the New Urbanism movement in America.  Each development must inspire a sense of place and every room contributes to the whole.

The overall objective for the future will be carbon-neutral design that contributes no additional environmental footprint.  Efforts on this behalf are being coordinated with the Colorado Governor’s energy office and the new Wyoming chapter of the USGBC.  The final five building of phase one at Sheridan College will serve as ZEH design examples for Wyoming.

The practice maintains an active role on the Board of Energy Conservation Technologies, a Boulder based company working worldwide to reduce carbon emissions through invention, creation of new products and supply chain philosophies that result in the creation of a new job base for the next American generation.
