COMMUNITY SERVICE
The Kadd consultancy devotes 200 hours per person per year to services that ultimately “provide for the least among us.” Our neighbor is as important to us as our families and all our neighbors create the community in which we live. Some service is provided to religious groups of any denomination, non-profits primarily focused in housing and education.
Housing initiatives have been planning to include workforce housing at Wyoming Community Colleges, NWCCD is currently implementing 950 beds of expansion on a base of 260 beds. Non-profit structures have included Thistle for Boulder, Libertas for Colorado, and assistance to SHAC for Sheridan. We are also assisting BRI, Colorado’s largest advisor of the sub-prime mortgage crisis with supplementary operational funding through development partnerships.
We have recently been active with the AACC to improve grantsmanship with capital improvement programs and presentation proposals on diversity development.
Current initiatives include expansion of non-profit housing groups with an emphasis on financial literacy and asset building. Education initiatives include a collaboration with Whitney benefits and Sheridan College to accomplish a learning environment from birth to death for the Sheridan community including a new Reggio Emilio Early Childhood Education Center, developing a pre-K –14 school district structure, and 100 articulation agreements by the Sheridan College with worldwide Institutions including Harvard and Stanford to meet lifelong learning needs. |
